At the end of last semester the students in 7L, 7A, 7K and 7G produced museum dioramas for their last History assignment on Ancient China. The girls clearly put a great deal of effort and work into their assignments with some fabulous results.
The students worked in teams of three or four to create a museum layout displaying different aspects of Ancient Chinese history and culture. This task allowed the girls to put the skills they had learned throughout the semester into practice. They used their research skills to find sources including artefacts that they would like to see displayed in their museum. They were also required to show source analysis by explaining their selections. The visual aspect of this project gave the students an opportunity to show off their creativity. These are some of the best projects I have seen for this assignment and the bar has been set high for students in 7M, 7C, 7E and 7R who are studying History this semester.
