Referencing books:
A book with one author
When you type this information on the page it should look like this:
Author, A. A. (Year). Title of work. Publisher.
Note the title should use sentence case and only the first word and any proper nouns should have capital letters.
For example,
Hoopmann, K. (2006). All cats have Asperger's syndrome. Jessica Kingley.
A book with multiple authors
The order of the authors names should appear as they do on the book. As the person whose name comes first is usually the main author and has done more of the work.
When you type this information on the page it should look like this:
Author, A. A., & Author, A. A. (Year). Title of work. Publisher.
Note the extra comma after the first author's initial.
For example with two authors,
Jones, C., & Petrovic, S. (2013). Australian Indigenous peoples. Hodder and Stoughton.
Or three authors,
Ferguson, E., Cranney, L., & Jarell, T. (2014). The history of the world. Hodder and Stoughton.
Include the names of up to 20 authors, if there are more than this, after the 20th author write '"et.al.".
