All images that you take from other sources MUST be referenced and included in your reference list. You must include the author, year, title of document, document type and the URL. Any images used within your work that weren't created by you need captions. If in doubt, see a teacher librarian or the APA referencing guide!

In-text reference Use an in text reference when you talk about an image
Eg. The cat paw in the photo (Niemi, 2005) is reaching for the key board.
However if you use an image within your work you must include a caption that gives the creator attribution or credit for their work.

Pixabay is an online search site for stock photos that are free to use with referencing. The photos are contained within the site and are easy to search for within the search bar.
